Tests and Results

TESTS ORGANISED BY HOSPITAL DOCTORS

We do not get results of tests requested by hospital doctors.  These are sent straight to the hospital, and you should contact the secretary of the consultant/ specialist you are under.  Results from these tests are usually available at your next hospital appointment. 

St. David's Hospital is open from 8.30 am until 11.30 am for bloods.  

Blood Test Results 

Please allow at least five working days before telephoning the surgery for your result.  Complex test results may take long than this to reach the surgery, and your doctor, nurse, health care assistant.

Please telephone Monday to Friday : 10.30am until 2pm for blood results. 

X-Ray and Scan Results 

Please allow at least seven working days before telephoning the surgery for your result.  Sometimes the result will take longer than this. 

Please phone between 10.30am and 2pm for your results.
